I wonder what they mean by Virtual Reality support, outside of the VR that is available in every aircraft in DCS.

i think that just replaced the "6DOF cockpit capable" line

This is one that I am going to leave until it is finished. As much as I would like the F/A18 I would like to have a better focus on the modules I already have. The Harrier has been too good, so far, and it isn’t complete yet. If I can crack in-flight refuelling then I don’t even have to worry about the range issue!

I'll also wait until it's done/on sale quite a bit - it looks like it'll be a very good module, it just doesn't peak my interest - mainly because the Harrier is already here and with these modern aircraft the cockpit experience is much of a sameness due to the standardisation etc, the only thing it has going for it in my book is air-to-air proficiency and CATOBAR Carrier ops, but then the F-14 is also coming in the not to distant future and seems a far more interesting prospect.

Probably, though some extra stuff would be a nice surprise, not sure what though unless it was touch support.

I read as just being a replacement for 6DOF. They've not mentioned VR before. Touch support would probably be horrible I really want it to work but the controllers would be awkward with a HOTAS and I don't think I could keep the Touch controllers on my writs while flying.

Some of the new developments look really promising though, just hope they come to fruition and things like DCS support them.

Well, I doubt I'd bother using touch in flight sims, but it would be a good gateway to supporting things like VR gloves when they come along, which would better suit sims.
