Hi Philstyle,

the 2 Fw190 that you where atacking as they went headon with the B-17 was Schnarre and me. Also the the Fw that you or some of your squadmambers atacked was also me :D. Was a verry nice mission, can have a lot more of them. I will finish my video, than you can see the the view of the dark side.

Nice to see that even the mighty Little_D messes up his landings sometimes. It gives me hope

Hi Roblex,

i realy have problems to bring the Fw190 and Bf109 nice and soft down. Will have to train more with the new Warthog, aslo i think there is something changed in DCS 2 Normandy. What i here from other german pilots, is that both planes feel different and the Fw190 feels more havy. Dont know if something in FM or elswhere changed, but i "feel" it too and its not bad, feels better :D . YoYo said no FM changes. So maby ony in our minds something chanched   .

How is it on the other side, something changed in Spit / P-51?

I am also finding the landings heavier in the Spit. I had it sorted in 1.5 but in 2.1 I seem to flare too high then crunch down hard and bounce like you did. I am not the only one and some are saying it is the new terrain confusing us or maybe it being harder to judge altitude with. They say no FM changes but they must have changed something because the spit now overheats faster. Perhaps that means they have changed the engine behaviours and the landing is affected by it reacting differently when we are chopping the throttle to land. Another possibility is that the FMs and engines are unchanged but the new map has a different air density or something. Perhaps they gave us too much gravity :-)

thanks for this video Little_D ... Schnarre, .....nice flying and some awesome footage of the experience from the 'other' side ....Interesting to hear your reaction about the Spitfire speeds up there... you seemed so fast too ...

Nice to get back into it ... albeit now defending the bombers ... makes for a whole new experience ...
