From another sortie, I met you for the first time on Moday 19th Oct. We had a very interesting and challenging fight over the channel, right on the deck. Do you remember fighting two Hurricanes, us chasing each other? It was EAF51_Jimmi and me. I cannot remember now if your pilot was killed or if you ditched in the sea.

In any case it was a very exiting match and I hope you didn't drown. If you were pilot killed, then errrr, at least it was quick.

I remember it much more clear, than i want... And i'm still angry. But step by step. At first it was our human raid to GB and i forced you to leave the combat after you engaged bombers (damaged you, shotted down?). And then, later, you and Jimmi found me and last bomber i was escorting back.
At first i did all right - spot you in right time, draw your attention, successfully drag you both from He-111 and even left you undamaged. But after that i made a huge mistake and it's my fault - it's the first reason i'm angry. On my own. - I lost visual with you. And even expecting to loose my advantage, i still decide to pursue Jimmi... Exactly as it was expected, in few minutes i saw you diving on my tail with enough energy to not let me go away at this time. On deck, without energy and against two hurri's... Well, i deserved it.
But the second reason i'm very angry... Even when i start to leak with both oil and water, even when i drop canopy - it was obvious i'm bailing and plane never will reach coastline - you kept you finger on trigger. And yes i got pilot killed. Not drowned, not captured. It was killed on bailing out. And it was quick. As i can see it, especially. So yes, i'm angry and looking for revenge  Hope to meet you soon once again. Both of you :)

Btw, may be i even have to thank you. After this accident i completely stopped deluding myself about some kind of "knight principles". And memories how i left some spits heavy damaged to let them at least try to land now make me laugh :) No more principles...

Yes that raid earlier on the day was very interesting. You indeed attacked me after my first pass on the bombers. I could do no more, my Hurricane was heavily damaged and I had to disengage away. You and others from JG4 boomed n zoomed me multiple times. Very close to going wrong and it was some nervous minutes!

Much later in the mission I got a new aircraft and we had our second encounter. This was yet again a noteworthy fight, as you halted our ability to go for the single bomber, saving him surely from damage or worse.

I'm sorry if you were about to bail in just that moment, I was doing my best to stay with you.

If I remember in the heat of battle and my hydraulics are not destroyed, I tend to lower my gear as a sign of surrender when escape is impossible and death following close on my six. Doing it over water certainly shows the fight is over, in my humble opinion. I hope I would have left you then and observed you ditching. But it all happened so fast, it is easy to say these words in hindsight.

Going through the footage from that fight, I now notice it was a pilot kill on that last pass. In the moment flying, I was a few feet away and it was a strange, mixed feeling of relief for surviving the duel over the sea, as it always can quickly turn to the worst - but also an eerie knowledge that the 109 pilot was doomed, either by drowning so far out to sea or heavily wounded by that last pass, as the plane plummeted into the sea...

I'll get the footage uploaded soon. It was a long and prolonged fight lasting at least 15 minutes. A memorable little battle that had great consequences for the individuals involved.

Some times right words can lead to right thoughts... I'm ashamed of my behavior. It was kid-style complains. And, yep, you are correct... i know this feeling of combat rampage, when you are first doing and only then thinking.
Anyway, thnx for your response. I still hope we meet again soon - not for bloody revenge, but just for really good fight :)
S!

P.S.: Waiting for movie ;)

Some more movie.
Actually it's completely not «best shooting clip», though it contains some firing. All this thing is about my ultimate desire to share... the song! :) Yep. It was written by my good friend and squadmate =AD= V_Korneev few days ago, right after i once again was telling him about SoW and tried to entice him here.
A little bit more backstory... Song choice for parody wasn't random, as it turned out later - I can't stand with MlP-theme (read info on y-tube) almost as much as i like to fly with energy. But even i never flew so high before came to SoW and saw Spits on 10 thousands... So, Korneev is not only the good musician, he is also a huge troll :)
Hope, you'll enjoy it.

Some more movie.
In solo-patrol sortie lone Bf-109 was looking for RAF raid and... found it. That's the story about how escort should not be done. Well, actually i was a bit cautious and left the party still having some ammo. But since i was alone and without any backup... i decided, that 10 minutes is enough to my presence in area and i wouldn't wait for reinforcements of angry RAF's. Especially of this mysterious spit, which was said to be right there, and about whom i was looking around all the time instead of engaging.
Hope you would enjoy.

Unfortunately without song, but shooting presenting in this time is that i'm not ashamed.
